Barbara A. Barnes, 68, formerly of Palmyra passed away Monday, January 30, 2017.
Born May 30, 1948 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer F. and Mabel I. (Stitzle) Weaver and was preceded in death by her brother Thomas W. Weaver and grandson Blake L. Howard.
Retired from Hershey Food Corporation, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sitting by the pool, going on vacations, gardening, baking, and just being the best daughter, sister, mother and grandmother that she could be. She will be dearly missed by all.
Surviving are her children Barry L. Howard (Crystal) of Boerne, Texas, Brian K. Howard (Charlene) of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Melinda K. Yeingst (Patrick) of Harrisburg and Shaun D. Barnes (Brandi) of Harrisburg; sister Sandra K. Smith (Dan) of Camp Hill; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, February 3, 2017 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra.
