Antoinette B. Crout, 94, of Hershey and formerly of Palmyra passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 2, 2017.
Born November 25, 1922 in Waltonville, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mamie (Purcell) Bonat and widow of Randall A. Crout since 1981. She was also preceded in death by a son Jimmy Crout, brother Fred Bonat, and sister Dolores Houser.
She worked for Get the Picture, Hershey after retirement from Hershey Foods and was a 1940 graduate of Derry Township High School. A U. S. Navy WAVE veteran of World War II, she was a member of the Central Pennsylvania Blue Mountain Military Women and a movie extra in Another Harvest Moon.
Surviving are her children Anthony Crout (Deb) of Lebanon, Shirley Fink (Larry) of Hershey, Linda Cassner (James) of Honey Grove, Barbara Wagner of Hershey, Douglas Crout (Chris) of Harrisburg, Nancy Ambler (William) of Manheim, George Crout of Hershey, Robert Crout (Carol) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Deborah Sherk (Robert) of Lebanon, and Geraldine Hartman (Brad) of Palmyra; siblings Mary Jackson of Hershey, Caroline Butsko (Steve) of Hershey, Carmella Bonat of Sellersville, Ted Bonat of Levittown, Irene Rice of Chambers Hill, and Janet Leach (Raymond) of Hummelstown; 23 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 10:30 AM. Interment in Hershey Cemetery.
