Ann L. Stauffer, age 70, of the Hershey area and Philadelphia, passed away on July 28, 2018 after a 2-year illness. She graduated from Palmyra Area High School, Shippensburg University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, and Temple University with a MBA in International Business Administration. She lived in Tampa FL, but spent most of her adult life in Center City Philadelphia in her beloved high rise apartment in historic Independence Hall and Liberty Bell neighborhood.
For most of her career, Ann was employed by Citizen Diplomacy International (formerly the International Visitors Council of Philadelphia), where she had the great opportunity to showcase our country to International visitors from more than 100 countries each year who were guests of the US Department of State. She also worked for the Eisenhower Fellowships, World Game Institute, and PA Department of Public Welfare, and traveled overseas and to many states as part of her work. Ann retired back to the Hershey area in 2016 and was an active member of Palm Lutheran Church and the Hershey Rotary Club.
She is survived by her mother, Jean Stauffer; brother, Michael Stauffer and wife, Grace; nephews, Matthew and Daniel Stauffer and wife, Ruth; and great-nephews, Miles and Henry Stauffer.
