Alice Marie Jeronis, 91, of Palmyra passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Carolyn’s House, Harrisburg.
Born October 14, 1925 in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Marguerite (Kelly) Hanlon. She was the widow of John Joseph Jeronis since December 1996 and was also preceded in death by five siblings.
A retired Pharmacy Assistant, she had worked at Rhoads Pharmacy, Hummelstown and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She loved to crochet, shop, read, and spend time with family.
Surviving are her children Alice Marie, wife of Otto Christensen of Mohrsville, Veronica, wife of Aaron Neidig of Annville, and John Joseph, husband of Sue Jeronis of Palmyra; siblings Robert Hanlon of Tamaqua, Thomas Hanlon of Orwigsburg, Catherine Jeronis of Riegelsville, and Emerita Depos of Tamaqua; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at her church, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
