Alexander T. Meyer Obituary

Alex passed away in Chicopee, MA. He was born in Hershey, PA to Carol A. Meyer and the late Ralph P. Meyer. He has two older brothers, Ted and Andy, both married with families.

He was a graduate of Palmyra High School and Lebanon Valley College. Alex completed a Certificate Year of a Transpersonal Psychology degree and recently has been awarded posthumously his Master’s of Science in Health Care Ethics from Creighton University.

His working career began at East Coast Software in Hershey when he was sixteen. He spent time at the family business, Meyer Packaging until its closure in 2004. He then worked for Esko Graphics in MA until he left to complete his Master’s.

Alex was always interested in computers and even more so people. He loved to play Dungeons and Dragons and played through high school and beyond college.  Music was always important to him, especially the group Rush. Alex followed many individuals in his family and became a member of the Masons; he joined Esoteric-Sherwood Lodge A. F. & A. M. in MA. He was also becoming quite good at photography and was fond of taking photos of water falls and the night sky.  You can observe some of his work at Alexandermeyerphotography.wordpress.com.

To honor Alex, please take the time to be in touch with people you have not spoken to or seen in some time. If you have relationships that were once valued and the nature has changed, look to see if you drifted apart over an incident that no longer has validity. Relationships were very important to Alex.
