Joyce P. (Siegrist) Carroll

Joyce P. Carroll, 74, of Palmyra passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Born November 14, 1948 in Columbia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harold D. and Mary L. (Blair) Siegrist and also preceded in death by her brother Dale Siegrist.

Retired from Rite Aid Pharmacy, she was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church and their Missionary Committee.  Joyce enjoyed camping at Cook Forest State Park, working in her flower beds and gardening.  Most important to her was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of almost 55 years Samuel R. Carroll; children Catherine E. Groff (Michael C.), Cynthia L. Brubaker and Samuel D. Carroll (Theresa Z.); sisters Nancy Frey (Anthony) and Shirley Herr (Marvin);  grandchildren Nathan Harner, Ben Groff, Emma Brubaker and Spencer Carroll.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 20, 2023 at her church, 55 West Main Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM.  Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
