Georgieann (Lingle) Crawford

Georgieann Crawford, 84, formerly of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Columbia Cottage, Palmyra. 

Born August 18, 1939 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Lingle and Ruby E. Gibson.  After 62 years of marriage, she was the widow of John E. Crawford since March 5, 2020 and also preceded in death by daughter Jodie A. Crawford and brothers Tracy Lingle, Richard Lingle, Larry Lingle and Keith Lingle.

Retired from The Hershey Company since 2000, she was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Grantville, and enjoyed visiting the casino, refunding, cooking, baking, sewing and crafting, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson.

Surviving are her son Brian E., husband of Suzanne Crawford; brother-in-law Richard, husband of Marie Crawford; grandson Jacob E. Crawford (fiancée Cassy McRoberts); and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her church, 165 Firehouse Road, Grantville preceded by a viewing beginning at 9:00 AM.  Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
