Donald R. Popino

Donald R. Popino, 77, of Palmyra passed away Friday, March 15, 2024.

Born December 15, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Warren Popino and Angelina (Cervone) Laterza.

A former employee of the City of New York and a self-employed Chef, Donald was a U. S. Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War and a Disabled American Veteran.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years Eileen (Bruzzese) Popino; son Donald Popino (fiancée Jennifer Conrad); daughter Danielle Laudiero (Mark Laudiero); sister Marie Cama; brother Warren Popino (Kathryn Popino); grandchildren that he loved and adored Nicholas A. Popino (Melissa Popino), Donald J. Popino (Julia Drago), Arianna Angeline Popino and Nicole D. Laudiero; and great granddaughter Noel Angeline Popino.

A viewing will be held 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 300 West Pine Street, Palmyra.  Burial, with military honors, will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
