Willard L. “Rex” Rexrode, 80, of Conewago Township, Dauphin County passed peacefully with his daughter by his side Thursday, November 2, 2017 in the Lancaster General Hospital.
Born January 9, 1937 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Roy R. and Dora Evelyn (Waybright) Rexrode and was also preceded in death by his sister MaryAnn Rexrode.
A graduate of Hershey High School, he served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War and was retired from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. He had a passion for cars and was always up for a good auction.
Surviving are his loving daughter Dena Custer, and fiancé Thomas Wilfong; grandchildren Joshua Custer and Wyatt Wilfong; companion Ruth Young; brother Duane Rexrode and wife Vivian; several nieces and nephews.
Military honors will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
