Sandra Jean Kline, 65, of Landisville passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.
Born February 19, 1952 in Frystown, she was a daughter of the late Chester D. and E. Marie (Swope) Rudy.
Retired from Northwest Elementary School, she had taught in the Lebanon School District for 36 years. Sandy received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Early Childhood Education in 1973 and Master of Education in 1978 from Millersville University. She was a member of the Lebanon County Honor Society and worshipped in the Lutheran faith. While she loved biking, traveling, antiquing, and tending to her flower gardens, her most rewarding jobs were being a wife to Jack, mother to Ben and Betsy, and especially treasured being Grammy or Grams to Emme, Charlie, and Lucy.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years Jack Michael Kline; children Benjamin Jack Kline, husband of Amy of Gibsonia and Erika Elizabeth “Betsy” Kline of Brooklyn, New York; siblings Shirley, wife of Lee Southard, Joan, wife of Gordon Sweinhart, Chester, husband of Susan Rudy, Diane, wife of Jeff Richardson, Janet, wife of Greg Lundberg, Michael Rudy, Jeffrey Rudy, and Carolyn Gerhart and partner Michael O’Day; and three beautiful granddaughters Emerson Grace Kline, Charlotte Adelaide Kline, and Lucienne Eliza Kline.
A memorial service will be held at a future time. Private interment will be in Longenecker Cemetery, Lititz.
