Robert G. Price passed away at the age of 100 on October 12, 2017 at the Masonic Villages in Elizabethtown after a short illness.  Bob was born on July 22, 1917 in Maizeville Gilberton, PA to Harry Price and Ann Campbell Price.

 

He served in WWII in the Army from 1941 to 1945.  After serving his country, he resided in Washington, DC, graduated from Ben Franklin University and was an Accountant.

 

He loved the outdoors, hiking and fly fishing, as well as enjoyed golf and tennis.  He was a member of the Grand Lodge of Masons in Silver Spring, MD and was a member of University Methodist Church in College Park, MD.

 

He relocated to Hummelstown because of family commitments and remained in Hummelstown for almost 50 years.

 

He is survived by a sister, Velma Schucker of Hummelstown and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by three brothers, John and wife Peggy of Shenandoah Heights, William and wife Marion of Reading, Harry and wife Ruth of Sharon Hill.  Also, two sisters, Ruth Price of Hummelstown and Jean Saylor Yarnell and husband Clare of Hummelstown and brother-in-law, John Schucker of Hummelstown.

 

Burial and graveside services will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. 

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Masonic Village Hospice, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
