Robert G. Ortity, 86, of Londonderry Township passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Spring Creek Nursing Center, Harrisburg.
Born March 25, 1930 in Middletown, he was a son of the late Michael, Sr. and Veronica (Sabonic) Ortity and was the widower of Annie May “Sis” Ortity who died January 2009.
A U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he retired from Olmsted Air Force Base and later worked at Lower Dauphin High School.
Surviving are his brother Michael Ortity, Jr., sister Veronica Petris, two nieces, one nephew, and several great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Middletown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pennsylvania Wounded Warrior Project, 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
