Robert A. Garland

Robert A. Garland, 80, of West Hanover Township passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg.

Born October 11, 1935 in Alexandria, Virginia, he was a son of the late Henry A. and Mary T. Garland.

Retired with 27 years of service from the Seabees Construction Battalion, he then worked for Nuclear Support Services, Inc. and served on the West Hanover Township Safety Committee and the Sewer and Water Authority.

Surviving are his wife Linda L. Turns-Garland; daughter Patty, wife of Joe Kotsur; step sons Paul Turns and Eric Turns; sister Jane Garland; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 9:00 AM Monday, July 11, 2016 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville.  Interment, with military honors, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  Viewings 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday and 8:30 – 9:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
