Raymond E. Fields, 79, formerly of Grantville passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 in Spring Creek Nursing Center, Harrisburg.
Born October 7, 1937 in Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Elsie E. (Bernheisel) Fields and was also preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Harrington.
Retired from TA Harrisburg, he was a member of the East Hanover Lions Club, Grantville Volunteer Fire Company, and Shellsville VFW Post 9639. Raymond loved farming and had won many prizes at the PA Farm Show.
Surviving are his brother Kenneth Fields, granddaughter Sarah, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Grantville Cemetery, Firehouse Road, Grantville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 745 West Governor Road, Hershey, PA 17033.
