Paul L. Uplinger, 74, of Annville passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born September 28, 1942 in Cumberland County, he was preceded in death by his father Charles Uplinger and sister Blanche.
Retired from the former Kinney Shoes, Palmyra, Paul was a U.S. Army veteran, lifetime member of Palmyra Sportmen's Association and loved playing cards. He also enjoyed hunting and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years Lavina A. (Hetrick) Uplinger; daughter Lori A., wife of Marty Laughman of Lititz; siblings Chuck, Judy, Jane, Ralph, and John; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 5:00 PM. Interment, with military honors, 9:00 AM Thursday at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042.
