Paul R. Neidig, 70, of Palmyra passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at home.
Born July 26, 1945 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Jonas and Mary (Walters) Neidig. He was also preceded in death by brother Harry Neidig, sister Mabel Beane, and great nephew Austin Leininger.
He retired from Hershey Foods and then worked at Palm Lutheran Church for 12 years. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and lifetime member of the Palmyra VFW 6417, he enjoyed golfing, camping, antique cars, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife Cindy S. (Norris) Neidig; son Todd, husband of Wanda Neidig; daughter Kelley, wife of Gary Smith; step daughter Nicole, wife of Derrick Schwartz; step son Jamie, husband of Lori Norris; brothers John Neidig and Jonas “Butch,” husband of Bev Neidig; 12 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held 9:30 AM Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Palm Lutheran Church, 11 West Cherry Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 8:00 AM. Interment, with military honors, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
