Lois Anne (Mengel) Shiffer entered eternal peace Monday, May 1, 2017 at the age of 81.
Born December 20, 1935 in Annville, she was a daughter of the late J. Earl and Ester (Mace) Mengel.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Leroy Shiffer of Campbelltown; sons Gregory, Edward (wife Donna) and Randy; daughter Susan Kulp; granddaughters Jessica and Erin Kulp; step granddaughter Jeannie Hilsher; step great granddaughters Taylor and Savanna; step great grandson Pearson; brothers Kenneth (wife Erma) Mengel, Dale (wife Carol) Mengel; sisters Phyllis Mengel, Sandy (husband the late Dale) Gingrich; niece Jan Caudle; and nephews John and Jim Gingrich.
A 1953 graduate of Lower Paxton High School, she retired from H. B. Reese Candy Company. A member of Campbelltown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary where she ran the register and made many friends at Friday night bingo. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Campbelltown Fire Company, NASCAR and sprint car races at the Grove and Port Royal. She and Leroy enjoyed fishing on the river and their numerous trips to Canada.
She will be deeply missed and remember by her family and friends as a caring and loving mother and friend.
Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
