John E. Popa, 65, of Middletown passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
Born January 2, 1952 in Weirton, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Jack and Mary (Urdea) Popa and also preceded in death by his brother Jack Popa and sister Mary Walsh.
He was employed by Conduent, a member of Derry Presbyterian Church, loved music and his family.
Surviving are his wife Susan E. (Smith) Popa; children Paul, husband of Dana Popa of Knoxville, Tennessee, Chad Popa of Pittsburgh, Christopher Popa of New York, Michelle Popa of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Stephanie Popa of Middletown; sister Evelyn, wife of Robert Cuthburt of Ohio; granddaughters Braelyn and Cora.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Derry Presbyterian Church, 248 East Derry Road, Hershey preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM.
