Howard E. Reesor, 88, of Palmyra passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born January 14, 1930 in Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Hoffer N. and Fannie E. (Gingrich) Reesor. He was also preceded in death by a son Gary Reesor, sister Esther Engle, and brother Clayton Reesor.
A lifetime plumber, he retired from the Lebanon VA Medical Center and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Palmyra VFW Post 6417, Campbelltown American Legion Post 831, Elstonville Sportsman's Association, and Friendship Fire Company, Lebanon.
Surviving are his wife of almost 60 years Ruth M. (Halbleib) Reesor; son Jeffrey Reesor of Hershey; siblings Martha Miller, Effie Brandt, Helen Messick, and Elmer Reesor; cousin Earl Hostetter; and grandson Johnathan Reesor.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:30 AM. Interment in South Annville Cemetery.
