Herbert W. Graby, Jr., 70, of Mechanicsburg passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born December 25, 1946 in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Herbert W., Sr. and Irene (Houtz) Graby. Herb was a graduate of Palmyra Area High School, Harrisburg Area Community College, and Memphis State University. Prior to retiring from the Hershey Company, Herb held various sales positions including a retail sales representative for Philips Consumer Electronics and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends, was an avid golfer and football fan, and a dedicated fan of his grandson’s youth sports. Herb was a loving husband, father and Paw-Paw. He had a weakness for anything with peanut butter, chocolate and a good red wine.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years Darlene J. (Phillippy) Graby; son Douglas W., husband of Michelle and grandson Zachary P. Graby of Dillsburg; sister Janice, wife of Bill Weeks of Georgia; and a niece and nephew.
A graveside service, with military honors, will be held 9:00 AM Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville followed by a Celebration of Life in honor of Herb from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Carmella Community Clubhouse, Mechanicsburg.
