Georgine M. Hoffer, 87, formerly of Hershey passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at The Village of Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.
Born January 8, 1929 in Campbelltown, she was a daughter of the late Freeman W. and Anna B. (Landis) Kelley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Simon L. Hoffer Jr. on May 9, 2016, son Steven L. Hoffer, and brother Kenneth Kelley.
Retired as a registered nurse from the former United Christian Church Home, Annville, she was a member of Community Bible Church, Palmyra and attended Puzzletown Road Bible Church.
Surviving are her children Karen L. Struwe of Allentown, Kenneth L. Hoffer of Harrisburg, Kim Marie Gilbaugh of Bellefonte, Karen Y. “Sis” Kilmer of South Africa, Darryl L. Hoffer of Palmyra and Melissa A. André of Altoona; siblings Kathleen Orehek of Palmyra, Jerald Kelley of Simi Valley, CA, and Romaine Ulrich of Palmyra; 14 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Shenk’s Cemetery, 5880 Schoolhouse Road, Elizabethtown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Lou San Bible Camp, 2200 Blue Mountain Parkway, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
