Gabriel V. Bosso, 87, of Palmyra passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Lancaster General Hospital.
Born June 2, 1930 in Staten Island, New York, he was preceded in death by parents Crescenzo and Theresa (Pesce) Bosso and brothers Louis Bosso and Leonard Bosso. He was the widower of Beverly J. (Laureno) Bosso since March 2002.
Before going into sales and retiring from Maritime Computers, he was a professional musician having played a variety of instruments from the accordion and piano to the clarinet and saxophone. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Palmyra and an Army Air Corp veteran. He loved to bowl, fish, cook, do crossword puzzles and was an avid golfer, although he took it up much later in life. Despite having been born in NY, he loved PA, and was a fixture in his neighborhood where he could often be found doing yard work for the whole block!
Surviving are his daughter Bonnie Bosso; sister-in-law Sophie Aquino; God-daughter Dr. Stephanie Trifoglio; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to whom he was especially close.
There will be no service with private interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
