Freada D. Pearson, 91, of Palmyra, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, went to her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Born February 17, 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Owen and Margaret (Hougland) Burlingame, the widow of Harold F. Pearson since 2001, and also preceded in death by four siblings.
Retired from The Hershey Company, she was a longtime member and former piano player at Faith Baptist Church, Lebanon. A graduate of Gordon/Barrington College, Rhode Island, she had worked for Christ Mission in New York City. She had a strong Christian faith and loved horseback riding, playing piano, flowers, and especially her family.
Surviving are her sons James H., husband of Jan Pearson of Fredericksburg, John L., husband of Carla Pearson of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Charles “Chuck” W., husband of Linda Pearson of Palmyra; sisters Margaret Clark-Burlingame of Hanover and Flora Draper of Florida; grandsons David B., husband of Jenny Pearson, Shaun C. Pearson, and Shane C. Pearson; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:00 AM. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
