Ethel V. Hess, 97, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born January 23, 1920 in Dauphin County, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Etzweiler) Fager. She was the widow of Herman E. Hess since 1993 and was also preceded in death by sons Norman and Donald.
She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Grantville.
Surviving are her daughters Erma, wife of Delbert Fureman and Dorothy, wife of Cleon Cassel; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 165 Firehouse Road, Grantville. Private interment will be in Hanoverdale Cemetery, Hummelstown.
