Edna Beatrice Gordon, 96, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born November 15, 1920 in McGillstown, Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Wengert) Eckert. Married to Herbert Lee Gordon, Sr. on August 23, 1948, she was widowed since June 15, 2002 and was also preceded in death by brothers Clarence Eckert and Arbel Eckert.
She graduated eighth grade from Widener Memorial School for Crippled Children on June 22, 1937. A self-employed seamstress for 80 years, she was a member of the Shellsville VFW #9639 Ladies Auxiliary and Fredericksburg American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her son Herbert Lee Gordon, Jr.; grandsons Anthony and Jonathan; great grandchildren Aaron, Lily and Eva; brother Richard Kreiser; and sister Shirley Bechtel.
Private interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
