Earl L. Bucks, 91, of Palmyra passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
Born February 23, 1925 in Palmyra, he was a son of the late Allen P. and Luella M. (Fittery) Bucks and was also preceded in death by siblings Pearl A. Fasnacht, Chester M. Bucks, and Helen A. Warfel.
Former co-owner of A.P. Bucks Bus Company, Earl was a member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church, life member of the Campbelltown Fire Company, and U.S Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years Margaret I. (Coffman) Bucks; sons Jeffrey E., husband of Julie Bucks of Annville and Kevin D., husband of Candy Bucks of Palmyra; brother Harold J. Bucks of Elizabethtown; sister Luella M. Edris of Palmyra; grandchildren Daniel A., husband of Kelcey Bucks, Curtis L., husband of Ashley Bucks, William R. Bucks, and Lindsey Decker; great grandchildren Makayla and Landen.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2017 at his church, 2760 Horseshoe Pike, Campbelltown.
