Dayne Burrows

Dayne Burrows, 70, of East Hanover Township, Lebanon County passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at his home.

Born November 3, 1946 in Butler, he was a son of the late Donald C. and Thelma E. (Saylor) Burrows and was also preceded in death by grandson Kevin M. Alley, Jr. and brother Richard L. Burrows.

He was the owner of Dayne’s Automotive Center, Palmyra and an Automotive Service Excellence Mechanic.  A 1964 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School and U. S. Marine Corps veteran, he was a supervisor for East Hanover Township, Lebanon County for over 20 years.  He was an avid hunter, liked his Corvette, farming and the color blue, but most importantly he adored and loved his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years Sallie A. (Miller) Burrows; children Daryl L., husband of Alicia Burrows of Lebanon, Michael D., husband of Janine Burrows of Annville and Yvonne E., wife of Kevin Alley, Sr. of Palmyra; brother Thomas, husband of Patricia Burrows of Reno, Nevada; and grandchildren Kiara, Michael, Bryce, Katelyn and Alexandra Burrows and Cheyenne, Faith and Hunter Alley.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra.  Viewings will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday and 10:00 – 11:00 AM Saturday both at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Ono.
