Charles J. Drupp, 91, of SpiriTrust Lutheran Village at Utz Terrace, Hanover and formerly of Palmyra passed away Monday, March 13, 2017.
Born June 16, 1925 in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Rosie Mae (Garrison) Drupp. He was the widower of Dorothy J. (Gingrich) Drupp since July 2006 and was also preceded in death by his brother Paul R. Drupp.
Retired from Speece’s Grocery Store, Palmyra, he was a charter member of the Palmyra Optimists. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and member of Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra Senior Citizens, Palmyra Fire Company, Lebanon Friendship Fire Company, Hershey Coin Club, Palmyra American Legion, the Lebanon County and National AARP.
Surviving are his sons Robert Drupp and his wife, Dianne, of Hanover and Terry Drupp and his wife, Jerie, of West Brownsville; sister Rose Marie High of Palmyra; and grandchildren Robert, Patrick, Dara, Ryan; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
