Carl Albert Houtz, 71, of Lebanon, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his residence.
Born May 19, 1946 in Bangor, Maine, he was a son of the late Mark and Cathryn (Flory) Metzler.
He was a tree trimmer and U. S. Marine Corps veteran.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years Deborah M. (Walters) Houtz; children Catherine, wife of Harold “Andy” Kiser; Sabrina Frazier, partner Todd Ebersole, and their daughter Alyssa; Joshua Houtz, and wife Amanda; Tiffany Houtz and boyfriend David Heisler; siblings Sue Carotto, Abe Metzler, Bonnie Metzler, Chris Daub and Mike Metzler; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 6:00 PM.
