Amy M. Rhoad, 89, formerly of Grantville passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Twin Oaks Health and Rehab, Campbelltown.
Born August 13, 1926 in Grantville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Gerberich) Rhine and the widow of Luther B. Rhoad who died February 27, 2015. She was also preceded in death by a son James Rhoad and siblings Anna Bickle, John Rhine, Paul Rhine, and Eva Eshleman.
She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Grantville, East Hanover Township Autumn Leaves and Twin East Hanover Grange. She enjoyed quilting and loved spending time with family.
Surviving are her children Karen Keaton (Roy), Michael Rhoad (Barbara), Beverly Harman (Scott), Ann Weaver (Dale), and Marcia Johnson (Robert); daughter-in-law Debra Rhoad; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 6, 2016 at Faith United Church of Christ, 117 North Faith Road, Grantville preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
