Alma B. Turner, 99, of Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016.
Born August 1, 1916 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Isaac B. and Lizzie M. (Books) Basehore. The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her siblings Ira Basehore, Catherine Hoffman, Lee Basehore, and Roy Basehore and also a nephew Roderick Basehore.
She retired as Vice President from First Federal Savings and Loan of Dallas, Texas.
Surviving are five nieces and a nephew: Teesie Carmack of San Jose, California, Lynell Henson of Waite Park, Minnesota, Jeffrey Basehore of Edom, Texas, Mary Hoke of Palmyra, Alice Gates of Palmyra, and Susan Hoffman Yespy of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 24, 2016 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown. Interment will be in Hummelstown Cemetery.
